This role ensures the delivery of high-quality software through a practical and risk-based testing approach, combining manual and automated testing. The QA Engineer will validate key user flows, APIs, and data behavior while helping the team build quality into the product from the beginning. Working closely with developers and stakeholders, this role will support fast iterations without compromising reliability.
Design and execute test strategies combining manual and automated testing.
Create and maintain automated test suites for critical flows.
Validate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
Support testing of multi-role and permission-based user scenarios across Customer, Utility Agent, and Third-Party roles.
Support testing of authentication flows (OAuth2/OIDC), including token handling and authorization scenarios.
Perform API testing and validate responses, permissions, and error handling.
Validate data integrity and expected system behavior.
Contribute to accessibility testing to ensure usability and compliance standards.
Test key user journeys such as consent, dashboards, and data access flows.
Collaborate with developers to identify defects early and improve quality practices.
Contribute to CI/CD testing automation when applicable.
Ensure alignment with security, reliability, and quality standards.
Help prioritize testing efforts based on business risk and delivery priorities.
4+ years of experience in QA, including manual and automation testing.
Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
Experience testing REST APIs (Postman, Swagger, or similar tools).
Experience validating web applications and complex user flows.
Familiarity with Vitest for frontend unit and component testing.
Understanding of authentication flows (OAuth2/OIDC).
Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and practices.
Basic programming/scripting knowledge in JavaScript is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
Experience working in Agile / collaborative teams.
Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
Ability to work autonomously in a part-time, fast-paced environment.
Advanced English level (written and spoken).
