Job Purpose

We are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our growth partner’s dynamic and close-knit kids furniture team. This role is crucial to our mission of delivering innovative and visually appealing products for children. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, and must be a motivated, passionate individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.

As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in bringing our vision to life by utilizing licensor style guides to enhance our pre-developed products. Your creativity will help shape new furniture and toy designs, as well as engaging packaging solutions that resonate with our target audience. Your attention to detail will ensure that every aspect of the design, from warning labels to UPC codes, meets industry standards and brand expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Utilize licensor style guides to apply artwork to pre-developed blank products.
  • Design packaging following licensor style guides, ensuring that the packaging is detailed and includes warning labels, UPC codes, style information and other required elements.
  • Ongoing maintenance of assigned licenses and product lines taking ownership for their direction and continually refreshing the lines with new ideas, designs and innovative products.
  • Use the materials provided by the licensor to create a graphic style that becomes the benchmark for any new items added to the line.
  • Working directly with licensors to make them a partner in our success.
  • Stay in the product development process from creative inception through production.
  • Suggest new products, manufacturing processes, materials, and designs.
  • Responsive to Production and giving them the materials they require to source, price and manufacture product that is attractive, safe and conforms to the individual licensors standards.


Experience & Qualifications

  • Graphic Designer with 3+ years of professional experience.
  • High proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate design ideas for new products (furniture and toys).
  • Experience in packaging design and in-store display design.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively within deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • A strong sense of aesthetics in interior design is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
